Reecer's wedding

This last weekend we took a short trip to Reno for Max's "twin's" wedding. Reece is one of Max's best friends. They were roommates the year before we got married. They try to be gymnasts and acrobats together. Reece was a groomsman at our wedding and helped us so much. We wanted to make sure we were at his wedding and could do anything to help! We left Friday evening and drove four and a half hours to Reno. We arrived around 11 pm and we were invited to sleep in Mary Ann's (the bride) parents office. we were just happy to be able to stay anywhere because we weren't planning on coming the night before. We woke up and headed to the Reno temple. I found out that I had left my temple recommend in California in my temple bag so luckily we arrived an hour early and were trying to get ahold off some of our bishops. We realized we hadn't even met our current bishop but we tried calling him as well as our BYU bishop. We couldn't contact any bishops and after awhile a counsilor in the temple presidency allowed me to enter. I felt so silly. It is such a weird feeling to feel so close to the temple and worry that you wont be able to go in. I always want to be prepared to enter the temple! Anyway, we were able to attend the beautiful sealing which was the first live sealing we were able to witness since ours a year ago. Everything was so beautiful and we are so Happy for Reece and Mary Ann. We didn't really know anyone else at the wedding but we met many people and many of the came up to Max and said "oh, your'e the twin," "you're the fun roommate" "you're the gymnastics guy." It was good to know that Max had a positive reputation among the Jones family.

Reece and Mary Ann Jones! Our specific responsibility was to check into their hotel and decorate for them. We were so excited to do this. We decorated with Rose Petals, dove chocolate, martenellis, and some other fun gifts and essentials! We of course left a baby in the room seeing as Reece was the one that gave us our first child, Dot! we meant to take pictures of the hotel room but we forget.

20 minutes before the reception ended we found out that no one had decorated their car so we took a quick run to Walgreens and got whatever decorating supplies we could find and decorated the car at a rapid pace! It turned out pretty decent!
We are so happy for Reece and Mary Ann.

After spending all day doing wedding stuff Max and I were remembering so many details of our wedding which we haven't really documented but really want to remember. So I am warning you that we may have a long post coming about our wedding even though it was a year ago!

Mother's Day

No, I am not currently a mother, but i do plan someday to become one and so we celebrated! We are living in California as part of a pest control selling team. Among our team there are 4 married couples and 2 of these couples have young children. The lovely men of the team decided that they would get together and make dinner for all the wives! (and do the dishes). This was a brilliant idea. Us women enjoyed a great meal with no clean-up. Thank you men! Later, Max surprised me with flowers and chocolate, woohoo i'm a lucky girl.

Anniversary in San Francisco

This weekend was our one-year anniversary!! This year has flown by and been the best year of our lives! Life just seems to keep getting better. We just moved to Merced California (Central) last week for the summer. We decided to take a trip to San Francisco while we are living close. Neither of us had ever been so we just went to explore. We walked around pier 39, saw Alcatraz, went to the aquarium, ate at the Hard Rock Cafe, and walked around the city together!
In the Aquarium!

We didn't ride the trolly but we got a picture on it!

We experienced the Hard Rock Cafe! It was mostly because everywhere else had seafood and we just had seafood the day before. It was an overpriced experience but we loved it!

I love my husband and I'm so happy that I get to spend eternity with him.
