May 2022 photo dump

May 2022

May was a good month. It warmed up a bit after a lot of rain.

Here's Walter, without a care in the world while Edwin plays soccer.

We got to go on a walk together without little boys. We went and walked by my old house and this is the path I often walked to and from elementary school.

Edwin finished up some of his Pre-k work!

The older boys finished up their swim lessons.

Walter enjoys a breakfast corn dog.

These are Edwin's calves. They have been like this since he started walking. He is a speedy runner.

Puppy love

Always helping with projects. Re-hinging our dutch door.

And we got another batch of baby chicks, We got 5 of them, and sadly, the puppy played a little too rough with one of them so we lost one.

Miles had his first orthodontist appointment at the same orthodontist Max and I went to in high school.

Found a frog in our yard and they was entertaining to awhile.

The ever popular slop pit!

Deck work

They all stopped to smell the roses.

We were excited that the fountains were turned on near their stem classes.

Usually around Spring Break, we have our first yard fire.

Max took the 3 olders on a Father's and son camping trip. He was willing to take Walter too but I figured they would all have more fun if I kept Walter.

We went on a long walk and played at the park for awhile. It was a busy day at the park and we met another baby named Walter.

It was the absolute best to see all the flowers popping up. My grandma loved her flowers and even though the yard had been overgrown for the last couple of years, many of her vibrant flowers still survived and we get to continue to enjoy them.

So helpfiul!

Pretending to do yard work.

A nature school day.

My little toddlers, resting.

A day helping in preschool.

We brought our chickens to the preschool and they were a hit, except for Edwin, he didn't care about them and kept trying to get his friends to play other things with him.

The hammock went up and with some minor repairs we were able to start reading books in it!

Notice how he likes the chickens here.

But then when they get all close, he doesn't like them anymore.

And I'm the mean mom who takes his picture instead of saving him from the little dinosaurs.

Watching brothers swim.

Little queen, getting her hair done.

Another nature school day.

Miles' reading really took off last Spring so it was wonderful to hear him reading to his brother.

Edwin saw a dragon fruit in one of his workbooks and asked if we could get one. After I bought one, he staged it like this (exactly how it was in his workbook) for a photo.

Really helpful during school

Playing hide and seek.

Finished his language Arts course!

We celebrated Max's brother Brent's birthday with an escape room and some Ax throwing. It was surprising more fun than I expected.

Did you know that you can check out tongue drums (and many other things) from the library?

Enjoying the castle a little longer before I made it go away.

A charming child found the caulk and decided to make decorations on our counter, he later confessed and cleaned it up.  (Thankfully before it dried)

A pokemon set up. Probably from Miles because he really likes his symmetry.

Hug Attacks

Outside time.

Laundry chair

Edwin's self portrait

Another Nature school day.

Walter's favorite book.

Edwin and I played games while brother's were in their STEM classes.

And some more fountain time.

And that was our May,  It's looking really nice since we are now in the depths of Winter.
