April Photo Dump

April 2022

For the sake of remembering things long after they happened. Here is my photo dump from April.

Here's a photo taken by a brother.

This kid though....

Preschool days last spring.

He also had a short lived soccer class. Turns out he's a little bit too much like me and team sports aren't his thing.

Playing in the park while brothers are in their STEM classes.

The weather finally got above 60 degrees so it was time to bust out the swimsuits and sprinkler. (Edwin actually wears his swimsuits year-round as shorts)

Deck progress, the deck framing made a decent pergola all summer.

This boy loves to be outside!

Biggest and littlest

Airplane!

Late night schoolwork

You know, just finding super-sloth in fun places!

A limb whipped me while doing yard work and left this nasty bruise.

Primary activity and Easter hunt.

Lots and lots of yard fires to burn scraps and yard debris and I accidentally made this fire a little too big. All was well

Welcoming Miles home from his epic road trip with grandparents. (see previous post)

Sleepy toddlers.

Random weird April snow!!!

But also Spring blossoms.

Hard at work!

Always casually balancing!

Middle boys are sure good buddies!

Always lots of spectators

"take our picture mom!"

April showers = mud = lots of doggy baths.

A pokemon watching over the castle while Edwin ( I mean, Spiderman) reads.

Another little reader.

And more reading.

A chilly nature school day

When Walter comes to nature school with us, I generally follow him around while older boys run wild. Hence all the photos of Walter and no one else.

Cousins Maelee came into town and Charlie was still up.

The programs for Miles' baptism. I don't think they made it into his baptism post.

The store with just my little guys, so I let them use those massive car carts.

Easter Egg hunt at Red Grandma's house.

Easter morning.

Sunday best for this little fella.

Showing the progress of a gift from Grandma.

These baby snuggles are kind of the best, especially when we are sending daddy off to work.

So much fun in this castle while we had it for a couple months.

Cute scenes on a library visit. Miles' reading took off last Spring so it's fun to see how much he loves reading to Edwin.

A neighborhood walk to see the ducks with my littlest.

A nature school day that turned out really muddy.

Guess who was cold and grumpy on the way back to the car? ( it was a pretty short walk)

OMSI field trip with Edwin's preschool.

We got to watch a movie in the planetarium. I've seen the movie several times on different field trips but the boys always enjoy it, and Walter did pretty well.

Anyway, we had a good time, it had been awhile since we had had a good OMSI day.

In the evening of that same day we found out that Max's uncle had to bring some of his baby calves into the city because their mom had died and they needed to be bottle fed. We got to go feed them.

Watching Edwin's soccer in the rain.

Really enjoyed watching spring in our yard.

more castle reading.

Trying to wear these kids out before bed, although I think they initiated this.

Nothing better than a flashlight.

Oh it was a beautiful spring.
