Walter 2 months!

And here are Walter's two month photos. He was a little grumpy but I sure love those jowls!

Them cheeks!!

February (2021) highlights

February 2021

It looks like the photos uploaded in a jumbled manner, but we'll go with it.

It's cute when he wears the baby and works. ha! Cleaning off the deck.

I also love it when my kids fall asleep on a book.

Brothers and neighbors making progress on Edwin's piƱata. Can you tell what it is yet?

Late night chats

The boys wanted to spend some of their money at the dollar tree. It's funny to see how excited (and rich) they feel when they go in there. And I like seeing what they think is worthy of their money.

Miles ended up with some glitter glue which I thought was an excellent choice.

Another day at church when Miles requested I take his photo.

These are a bit jumbled but this year (2020-2021 school year) we homeschooled along with a charter school that our cousins had been attending for the last several years. Since everything was virtual this year it was fun to go see the campus with cousins/

Walter making friends with Uncle James

Eddie cousins.

Seriously...my boys have the absolute best cousins!!

After visiting the school campus we went over to a lake or reservoir where the water was really low. It was a cool stump playground! Everett and Miles are only 6 months apart in age and I love seeing them together!

We also went to go see a dam.

It was a rainy day.

He's just always being cute!

Post gymnastics grocery shopping.

We had a couple days when there were huge windstorms that knocked out the power. Our house got so cold and our friends kindly shared their kerosene heater...of course the power came back on a couple hours after they delivered it but we were grateful for a couple toasty hours after days of cold.

Lots of game time all bundled up!

Charlie is a very reluctant writer. He had to make some sentences with his spelling words. This is what he came up with and it was a lot of progress.
I learned a lot about nothing.
I leaned against my head.
Walking along stinking my song.
I went across my face.
I went above the universe.
Don't take the toilet apart.

Still keeping that baby extra warm while the power was out.

Edwin got a tie dye kit for his birthday and we had a lot of fun doing making shirts as a family....Max was an over-achiever.

It's kinda crazy how much they've faded since then.

We had a day of snow.

Walter and I mostly stayed snuggly and warm inside.

Miles had a class last year called silly snacks. They would read a story and then make a little snack. He loved it so much!

My ultra talented, cookie artist friend surprised me on valentines day and brought these amazing Schitt's Creek themed valentine cookies.

Our big boys were able to get some kid kayaks with some education funds. The sad thing is we still haven't used them.

Except for the time we used them in our living room.

4 year old check up and a flu shot earned him a popsicle. He was so pleasantly surprised that his popsicle had two sticks and it was basically like getting two popsicles.

Check up for Walter too. I try to combine as many appointments as I can, otherwise we are always at the doctor. (Between checkups, sicknesses, glasses appointments, and ADHD followups...)

Strong little booger

My babies, taking over my bed.

The cutest little distraction.

One of our chickens, Shimmer, has been shaky since we got her. The other chickens are jerks and attack her. Max found her almost dead, covered in mud in our chicken run. He brought her in, gave her a bath and a blow dry, and got her to eat.

He then made her a new little home in the garage. She started eating again but then died a couple months later. She seemed to have some sort of a sickness from the beginning. But she sure was a sweet chicken.

Baby cleavage is funny.

More silly snacks class

Reading to his brothers.

Walter got involved with school work a bunch.

Studying different bodies of water.

Miles made Walter a luxurious canopy bed.

Finished some math and moved on to the next level.

Disco party and daddy jungle gyms...thats really how we survive most winters.

Some photos from our snow day, out of order but why fix it now?

And that was some fun stuff happening in February, stay tuned for Edwins birthday extravaganza and our separate mother/sons and father/sons trips.
