December highlights

  December 2020

Our December started with the triumphant entry of our little Walter. I've already blogged about his birth story here:

Walter's Birth Story

I didn't want to get a year behind before I documented that so go back and enjoy that if you want.

But since our highlight of December was his birth, I've still added some hospital pictures here!

All 4 boys going home from the hospital.

We had to go back to the pumping grind, just like with all my babies. This represents so much time and love for my child (and pain!)

Starting things out right by teaching his baby bro the proper web shooting technique.
It was just the cutest thing to see my babies holding my baby!

He didn't fit in the stocking, we tried!

He was so excited that we got Walter a Marshall pup to match his Chase pup...so excited that he didn't want to give it to Walter.

Matching Jammies Walter wanted food.

Sleeping babies are kind of perfect...especially while you are recovering from pushing a giant baby out.

One of our gifted meals came with this beautiful artwork and our first family of 6 portrait! Thanks Elijah!

"I wish I didn't take as many pictures of my newborn" said no one ever!

For the first time ever, Max had Paternity leave which was amazing and since I was enjoying homeschool so much, I was able to continue to school my boys while Max cared for the baby.

Best tummy time coaches around, at least they kept the baby entertained.

First Smiles

Another weird moment in time when my boys wanted a photo shoot with toilet paper.

There is nothing so perfect and pure!!

Don't worry, we sleep safe!

Grandma snuggles!

First Bath!! He loves the water.

I let Edwin play with this box and found hundreds of holes stabbed into the baby face...It worried me a bit!

Edwin's a cute sleeper too!

The tiny body with the big round belly is just too perfect!

Charlie and Walter's feet

Max and Walter's feet.

Perfection once again

Gingerbread cookie time.

Science

Really fancy cookies! I think these ones were given to my brothers.

Santa's on his way!

Meeting Gwenevere!
Cousin time!

She liked her deathly hollows earrings!

My talented friend Heather gifted us a paint-your-own cookie kit.

And amazing hot cocoa bombs

Getting ready for Christmas morning. Max may have been up really late setting up (playing with) hot wheels.

Uncles Austin and Dan always spoil my boys!

I always love long slow Christmas afternoons. this time we did legos and painted cookies.

After Christmas we decided to finally take Walter outside. haha! We went for a little walk around the property, went on the swing, saw and heard the chickens, and felt tree bark.

Back to school work!

And tummy time!

It was an exciting month with the birth of Walter (who is currently screaming at me ready for a nap, haha!) and celebrating Christmas!! Everything slowed down a bit and we were happy to spend all the time together as a family.
