Museum outing

In an attempt to get out of the house more and take more pictures, my camera came with me to the Children's museum again. After having a newborn, pumping all the time, working with school and nap schedules, we just don't seem to get out as much these days.  But it's been improving lately! So I guess I was just documenting an outing. Not that I really need to justify it, but there you go.  It was a rare warm winter day so we didn't even bring coats, which I was regretting as soon as we got out of the car. But we played inside for awhile and by the time we went out, it was a lot warmer. Also, it was super exciting that Edwin was able to walk and play a lot more...and much easier on my back since I didn't have to carry him the whole time.

And since the weather was amazing, we got to play at the outside exhibit which hasn't happened in a long time, Miles didn't even remember it.

 You can't win them all...

This kid and his weird appetite!

"What?"

And a little time at the sand pit before going home.

So, that was a lot of pictures....and it was a little tease of sunshine...we can't wait for it to get warm again.

Fruit trees

A couple years ago we had a very amazing and plentiful plum tree...and then it just fell down in the night. It was so sad. The plums were so amazing and we would dry tons of them and eat them all year long. Sigh.  We had planted a peach tree a couple years ago and it never really grew....so we thought we'd give it another shot and this year...we planted a super fresh apple tree and peach tree. And I decided to take a picture of the boys with the trees to see how they grow and how the fruit trees grow. And I may take photos of them reading The Giving Tree once the trees get big enough for them to sit under. We'll see how that goes...

The Peach tree

Stay tuned to see if anything comes of this. It will probably be a couple years before we get fruit.

A garden adventure

We made our way to our Garden for our first time in awhile to see if we could spot any signs of Spring. We didn't see much Spring evidence, it was mostly wet and cold, but still beautiful.
Mater joined us.

Oh and the matching shirts appeared in their drawers. I knew I had the smaller one but not the larger one...thanks to whomever passed these on to us. We love hand-me-downs.

 Fascinating brother...

So I haven't really left the house with my camera in a long time so I may have gone a bit overboard with the photos...so...you're welcome?!

And all that was just in the parking lot....we meandered into the garden.

This was about a month ago when Edwin was just starting to take off with his walking. I liked his determination.

Miles was there to help him. Ever since Edwin turned one, Miles has had more interest in playing with him. It's been kinda nice.

Snacking on more dirt...it's his favorite!

And look at that...a tiny bit of Spring was spotted!

I warned you there were a lot of pictures! Hah!
