Bullwinkle's Family Fun

 June 2021

To celebrate the survival of homeschooling for a year, we decided we needed to have a family fun field trip. Our younger kids had never been to Bullwinkle's family fun center. And they've been wanting to do laser tag and mini golf so that is what we did.

Edwin wasn't tall enough to do Laser tag so we got to ride on the bumper boats together then do some arcade games while Max, Charlie, and Miles did Laser tag.
We also all got to do some mini golf together. Even Walter, there he is, just hanging out.
Also, Max and Edwin coordinated their outfits.

And I couldn't help taking a photo here since we did so for our prom date many years earlier

We each got to do some arcade games and Edwin won some sort of major jackpot so he got to pick out some prizes at the end.

He felt as rich as a king with his ring pop prize.

And that was a fun way to celebrate and the boys still talk about it all the time. we just made plans for our end of school year outing this year and we can't wait!! hint (Great Wolf Lodge!)

Rose Garden 2021

June 2021

We kept with tradition and went to the Rose Gardens in June.
We brought cookies and met up with cousins and had a great time.
Charlie requested this photo.

I gotta get all the photos for Father's day! ha...Sorry for all the photos.

This may be a favorite!!

And here we are.

And all the cousins. Everett makes me laugh in all the photos so I'm just putting them all one here.

Those rolly polly arms!

Back when he still had baby teeth!!

Before going to our cars, we decided to go play at the nearby park as the sun was going down.

More rolls...delicious

Cousins

And then it was late and we made our way home. Great family outing.

Walter 6 months

June 1 2021
Back when Walter was half of a year old.

On the day that Walter was 6 months. He went in for an eye appointment and we found out he needed glasses.

We got to pick out glasses right there at the clinic (Usually we have to go somewhere else so this was a simple tender mercy)

Also, Edwin and Walter look so much alike at 6 month, they are mostly distinguished by Edwin's large head. (Edwin on the left and Walter on the right.

They didn't have many in stock so we picked a style and shape and then they had to order it which took exactly 1 month.

Charlie liked helping his baby brother pick out his first pair of glasses.

Edwin and Walter picking out their first pair of glasses.
He got these but in a navy color.
And now, nearly a year later, he doesn't need them anymore....for now.
Anyway. That's the 6 month version of our Walter.
