Back to the Children's Museum

I was working on a thorough Christmas post for quite awhile, then somehow it got erased. I'm not too thrilled to start over so in the meantime I'm going to do a quick post about going to the Children's Museum with cousins. That should get me back in the blogging mood to finish the Christmas post and do a New Years one as well.

We ended up being able to get a discounted membership at the Children's Museum and we jumped at the opportunity. On Sunday, my mom brought down her 2 beautiful grand-daughters from Tacoma for a couple days so we thought it would be fun to take them to the Children's Museum...and here are a whole bunch of photos per request of my mother.
He went and posed there himself! haha!

This kid is strong!

He kept coming back to the Dora car. He sure loves to "drive"

Working on his pull-ups some more

We then went to the theater where the girls beautified themselves!

and so did Charlie.

And what a great show it was...

They all took turns directing the show.

The curtain was another favorite.

The water is always a favorite for Charlie

Apparently he didn't like getting splashed in the face this time.

Even the hallways at the Children's Museum are fun. Grace and Charlie had a blast on the poles!

I know it is blurry but I couldn't resist the cheesy grin

I hadn't seen the dig pit before. It was pretty neat but as you can see, very crowded. I think Charlie will like it better in the future when there is more room to play.

He ended up sitting in the corner

Charlie and Grace worked together at the store.

But then there was the veterinary clinic which was Grace and Gwenevere's absolute favorite. They could have spent many more hours here.

Taking care of a sick bunny.
Charlie and Grace were big fans of the reception area. So many buttons to push!

and then Charlie got the idea that he should be in a cage...

This animal lover may be a veterinarian in the future.

Climbing on the train

And this was my favorite picture from our outing. I'm grateful Gwenevere will model for me so I can practice with my new camera.

And that was it. We had so much fun playing with cousins and Grandma. We probably could have stayed longer but everyone (mostly the grown-ups) were getting so tired. The kids probably would have slept on the way home if they weren't having so much fun and giggling together.

  3. I'm sorry your Christmas blog got deleted...that is the worst. I just did like 8 of mine the other day to be done with the Christmas ones.
I love that you have that camera. The pictures are great.
