Preschool in the Wisteria

So, I did a preschool lesson on the 5 senses and I stretched it a bit to incorporate our favorite garden. We got to see, hear, smell, and touch everything in the garden...(and taste our lunches) It is so fun to keep going back because each time there is another beautiful thing. This time the wisteria in the parking lot was in full bloom. I had never seen it like this and we have gone back since and it was already wilting so we are so happy we made this trip.

I think my boys love Tali.

I had a vision of all 6 kids peeking through the blossoms and having perfect smiles, but that seemed to be a little too much to ask.

This was as close as we got.

We first showed our friends the little maze,

We then hiked down to the little newt pond.

And then I tried to get them to all look at me and it still didn't work.

There were then races in the large grassy fields. Really it was just Charlie challenging anyone who would listen to him to a race, and for some reason this step is a favorite gathering spot.

We finished off our outing with some playing in the trickling water and "making salad"

This was seriosuly the best.

We passed out lunches and then went home.
I'm pretty excited about summer preschool!
