The morning after we got back from our beach trip, Max was off to another race. This time it was the Spartan race which is like 4 Miles of running but within those 4 miles there are a ton of pretty intense obstacles. (I would have never survived.) At first I wanted to go, but then we realized spectators had to pay to get in and there was no way I was going to pay to get into somewhere where I would just have to chase my kids around and keep them out of barbed wire and mud.
Max did the race with his brothers Justin and Brent, his friend Joe, and Joe's mom Sepa. They stayed together throughout the course to help each other out on the obstacles. In the meantime, Joe's wife Lindsay came over with her girls to my house for a pool party where I took ZERO pictures. And here are the photos from the Spartan Race website....I think they are all out of order, but oh well!
