Valentine's Day

Valentine's day was fun and simple. There was the prep work of making Valentines for Charlie's Kindergarten class and Miles' preschool class. And I used it as another excuse to get my kids gifts and books.

 I'm not a huge gift person so my kids weren't expecting anything...which it made it that much more fun to surprise them.
Max had taken Charlie to the store a couple days before Valentine's day and Charlie had seen some glittery purple nail polish and he was super persistent that he NEEDED to get it for me. So my boys ended up giving me a Valentine's gift of a pedicure. It was kind of awesome.

We had a steak dinner then put the kids to bed and had some chocolate covered strawberries. Perfect for us!
