Egg Art

This activity kind of began as a joke when I was working with another leader to plan a church Easter activity. We were looking for Easter crafts to do with the kids. (Surprise Surprise...our Easter activity got canceled) We saw this activity and laughed at how crazy it would be to do with 40+ children. But then I thought of how much my boys would love it and we went for it.
(plus we always have lots of eggs!)

Anyway, after you eat the egg, you save the shell and fill it with paint. Then throw it at the paper. Pretty simple and memorable for some high energy boys!

Look at the flying yellow paint...

Charlie threw in some finger painting.

The only had 4 eggs each so it was a lot of prep for a short activity but it was memorable, they continued to paint with paintbrushes and the fun lasted much longer.

We have since recycled most of their paintings, haha! But it was a good time!

  1. So random and funny. Sounds like something that would release some tension for me too! haha
