Ok, so all these photos were uploaded in reverse order and I'm already months behind so it shouldn't really matter right? So, I'm just going to move on.
My friend makes amazing cookies and was commissioned to do these Office theme cookies for another friend who had a very premature baby and spent months in the NICU.
Their baby is home and doing well now!
Lots of picnics
Keeps my kitchen a little cleaner, also this was when Max was in Nashville so it was always much easier to eat outside and not have to sweep after every meal....which I totally never do....but it was nice to minimize the crumbs.
Chickens!
We almost got rid of this sandbox then I kept finding them playing nicely for long periods of time and decided to hold onto it a little longer.
One day, Charlie decided to make clothes out off garbage bags. He got really into it and he has even kept the "clothes" in his dresser drawers. He told Miles "you look like an angel!"
You'll have to keep scrolling to find out where this injury came from.
Edwin and I got to do a little date and he picked ice cream and a bike ride. We went to our church parking lot and rode around and around the building.
We also made a little pinecone family.
The head injury came when he was riding on a speed bump that was perpendicular to a curb he slipped at the end of the speed bump and hit his head right between his glasses and helmet on the curb. It was a pretty rough hit.
I got to see some more glimpses of our baby boy.
We're at the stage in life where he doesn't nap anymore but goes to bed easily. If he does end up falling asleep for any period of time during the day, we will be struggling for a long time at bedtime.
Don't know when this happened but we found some sort of bite or sting on Edwin's arm.
With Max being gone in Nashville and my Mom and Don being ready for visitors, we made a visit to see them. Then I may have left my boys there for a night or two while I got other things done at home. Grandpa Don brings out all his toys and the boys have a blast.
We finally took off the front of the baby crib to make a toddler bed for Edwin. He was pretty excited.
One of their favorite summer activities is "making slop" which is just a big mud hole. On this day, they positioned a slide to go straight into the mud hole.
More lazin' about.
It's just my favorite to see them together like this.
Very soon, those cute little teeth will be gone, and I will be a little bit sad about it.
Charlie set up a fishing game for his brothers. he ransacked the fruit snacks and was passing them out as prizes.
More glimpses of the baby, also we are still going backwards with these photos, so he was much bigger in the previous photo.
Found them playing in our "jungle" and they made a heart for me.
Before I went back home, Mom and Don took us on a walk. They said this was the longest the grass had ever been, but we thought it was really fun. After about a half mile, Edwin began to stress out about it.
I woke up one morning to the sounds of my boys and looked on the monitor to see this cute scene.
Buddies
All the boys were excited and had to try it out together.
He looked like a bumble bee while he power washed the roof. That's all.
Tough guy!
Wasn't May like 5 years ago?
