Miles' Blessing Day

Miles was blessed on a beautiful Sunday morning, during our Sacrament meeting in church. It is a very special experience and we were happy that many of our family members were able to attend. Many of my cousins and aunts and uncles were out of town so just my siblings (minus Austin) and their familes, my parents. Max's parents, and my Red grandma attended. Miles slept pretty much all day except for when it was time to eat so he was pretty peaceful.

In the Blessing that Max was able to perform through Priesthood power, it was mentioned that Miles' sense of humor will be a light to others, he was blessed with a healthy body and a wise mind that will help him make good choices. He was blessed with the ability to learn from the mistakes he makes and that he will grow and gain humility. We love our little Miles and the joy that he brings to our family.

He wore the same blessing outfit that my two younger brothers and Charlie wore. It's fun to keep it in the family and great that I don't need to buy one!

After church we gathered at our house for lunch and visiting. It was nice that it was still a small group with the aforementioned people. My mom made ham and a fruit salad and we made ham sliders and had fruit and muddy buddies! We were able to enjoy the wonderful sunshine on the deck.

My beautiful sister in law Elizabeth! Thanks for making the trip down for Miles. And we sure enjoyed all the time we got to spend with you!

I meant to get someone to take our family picture but that didn't happen. whoops! But it was a wonderful day filled with Family. We feel so blessed to have Miles in our family!
