This is a little late so now I'm confusing his 4 month milestones with 5 month milestones so I'm just going to throw some info out there
In the last month (and a half) Miles has traveled to two new states, become a master flirt with his dimples, met his future wife, cut his first tooth and his second will be in any minute, his eyes officially look hazelish, he moved into his own room, he occasionally takes a good nap, he still sleeps through the night, and he loves to hold and suck on everything within arms reach. As of late he has wanted to be constantly in our arms and entertained. He doesn't last long playing on his own. We are working hard at getting him to nap consistently but boy is it exhausting. In the meantime...my house is getting pretty messy...oh well, they're only young once right?
These photos were taken on September 5th when he was officially 5 months.

He found some grass and tried to taste it.
Another little tidbit of info is that 99% of Miles' milk is breast milk. This is a huge milestone because it was when Charlie turned 5 months that I officially stopped pumping and switched over to formula. I still need to pump once a day, to keep my supply up, which is usually in the evening before I go to bed and I give Miles that bottle the following day before he goes to bed, I'm wondering if that is why he has been sleeping so well during the night. I give him formula when my supply is low or when he is home with Max or my mom is watching him and I haven't pumped enough. He does well with formula as well but I just feel so accomplished that he is breastfeeding after all the hard work I went through with Charlie and in Miles' early weeks (months)
And one more tidbit. Miles is getting teeth way earlier than Charlie. I think Charlie was around 9 months when he got his first tooth. It is kinds of a bummer that my nursing child is the early teether but oh well.
