Summertime Fun!

I started compiling some pictures from random summer adventures and since then we have had some even bigger adventures including a beach trip, a Utah trip and a Prineville trip, all of which have earned their very own blog post. So in the meantime, I don't want to forget about some fun summer day activities. 

Max's work put together a BBQ for the company. It was held on this amazing farm. They got a huge blow up water slide which Charlie kept climbing up and down the climbing side. He went down the slide once into the water and got so mad that his head went under water that he never wanted to slide down again...although he kept climbing to the top which made me a nervous mama. 

We also got to ride/drive ATVs across the property which was an absolute highlight for Charlie.

Miles didn't go along for the ride. One of Max's coworkers was holding him.

Hailey also did some amazing face painting, Charlie got spiderman.

On another day we decided to try out some bike riding. We don't really have much pavement around our house so we needed to take Charlie somewhere to get good practice. We feel that all little kids need to learn to ride a bike and Charlie was getting to the age where he would love cruising along on a bike or tricycle. This day we worked mostly on his balance bike,.

we took the bike to the playground and church parking lot by our house.

He had a lot of fun and we've been practicing a lot since.
