Preschool

A little over a month ago, Charlie started going to his own preschool. I've been doing preschool with him for about a year a half. IF you read my blog I'm sure you already know this. i decided that it may be good for Charlie to have some time away from me for preschool which would help him make the transition into Kindergarten next year. I visited a whole lot of preschools back in February and we felt great about a couple. We ended up choosing one in Tigard which happened to be in the same building I went to preschool in. I was super nervous about it but I really felt like it was the best thing for Charlie. I knew he wouldn't have any issues about leaving me but I was a little more worried about letting go of my control and having him be influenced by others. I know it is inevitable, but whatever, I just want to keep him so pure and innocent for as long as possible. Anyway, We picked a co-op preschool so I get to go help in the classroom a couple times a month which has helped with my transition. So the point is, My little Charlie is a preschooler and loves it a whole lot. I have been enjoying the time helping in his class and also the time I get with Miles before this next little baby boy comes. Each day, I feel that we made the right choice.
