New Years

I love celebrating New Years. And I love the low key celebrations we've had since having kids. Our goal is to stay home watch movies, play games, eat chocolate covered strawberries, review our year and make plans and goals for the coming year. Charlie was especially looking forward to it! We got to attend church on New Year's Eve and since we hadn't been able to do the Christmas music program, we were able to do that this week. When we got home I made my family take a group photo....That should be a New New Years Eve tradition right?! Also we need to get Edwin a matching tie. My boys also got new matching white shirts for Christmas..so they both had one that fit! woo! Then it was freezing so we went in.

After some dinner and tidying up the house. We got cozy and watched a movie. Edwin went to bed which took awhile and I missed most of the movie. We then made chocolate covered Strawberries and danced...as you can tell from the pictures...just Max danced! Haha!

So we got super sugared out and reviewed some of our favorite memories. Our top memories were Edwin being born, The solar eclipse and camping and rafting trips!
After about 10pm we showed our kids a fake countdown then put them in bed. Max and I stayed up reviewing our year, last year goals, and future goals...Some accomplishments from the last year include...

  1. Good goals- specially the part about Utah trip. ;) And those photos of Max dancing alone while the boys are oblivious made me laugh out loud!
