January (2021) Highlights

Some highlights back from January 2021

Of course the year started with Walter turning 1 month so we natutrally had to take pictures which I believe will be in another post. And there will probably be a new years eve/goals post too but Let me just start here. Walter at 1 month.

Charlie loves his baby!

And here are all the boys at one month. I didn't make a collage for each month throughout the year...but maybe I should...I love seeing how they are similar and different.

One month is when the smiles start coming out for my boys,

A couple days into the new year Max had a really intense nose surgery to help fix some damage wthat was done 12 years earlier when he broke his nose the night before our wedding. I'll spare you the images of his face post surgery and the weeks of recovery but it was pretty intense. But the point of me telling you this is that we dropped him off at the hospital early in the morning, I then proceeded to take my boys to the doughnut shop and that was my official first outing with all four kids.

My Mom and Don gave us a fun Christmas gift where we would receive a package of snacks from a foreign country and we could learn about the country. Our first package arrived and I think it was Japan. We looked forward to this each month.

It's nice to have some helpers

water science

not sure what's going on here.

I'm glad a took a ton of pictures of this precious little baby...he kind of grew really fast...(He's currently raging around the house breaking things...)

All the tummy time coaches were so helpful

We got to a park.

Injuries on the walk back home.

Hair stylist

Another park day while Max stayed home with Walter. (Seriously Paternity leave was amazing!!)

Trying to squeeze him into his newborn sock.

We took a couple hours to make it to 40 minutes of church but it was so good to go together as family.

One of Miles' photo requests.

Goofs

We had a pretzel day.

And then daddy had to go back to work so we pulled out the mustaches so we could text him silly pictures.

And Walter was glad when daddy came home from work.

I'll probably have a separate post on this somewhere but starting a year ago we began the process of purchasing my Green Grandma's house. My uncle was currently living there and the house had come into serious disrepair and it was significantly full of stuff! Max would go over 3ish times a week to work with the uncle, clean up the hoard, and help get him situated in his own home. That's a brief synopsis but I'll have some significant before/after photos coming soon. In the mean time...here is my uncle's cool rock collection that was displayed in a dark little hallway in the basement.

And back to school.

He made the laundry pile look so cute that I couldn't fold it.

Some art from Charlie's homework...
Some...art?!?

He drew snot on himself??

So many questions...

My dreams coming true with all my boys looking at the photobooks I've made over the years.

Dad's and babies

Good Morning!

We had a snow day so naturally Walter had to experience it!

Brotherly love.

We all did the Pottermore sorting hat quiz... And this is super official so it turns out Max, Rebecca and Edwin are Hufflepuff
I think this was my patroness. haha!

Miles was in ravenclaw

And Charlie is a Gryffendor!

They were filling their clothes with little balloons to make their muscles (and butts) look really big.
I may have memories of Max doing this same thing in high school.

Walter sitting like a big kid.

Edwin and Walter
reminded me of this little flashback of Charlie and Miles, around the same age.

And here are some big brothers preparing a piñata for Edwins birthday but you'll have to wait for my February posts to see the amazing outcome.  Can' you guess what it will be?

And we made it out of the house again. It seemed so challenging with a newborn and it being winter (and reoccurring Mastitis) SO this was a major accomplishment.

And that's a glimpse of our January 2021!
