Beach Day

We found out that our cousins were spending the weekend at the beach and we wanted to get in on it. We've only made it the beach one other time this summer and it was too blustery and cold to enjoy it. I needed to get there on a nice day at least once before summer was over. so we decided to make a trip to Seaside after church on a Sunday. We were pleased with the sun and warm weather and it was an enjoyable couple of hours that we were able to spend there. 

Just like his big brother, Miles is a big fan of the beach! 

I like this guy a lot.

The beach was made even better by spending it with Brent and Lisa's family.

Charlie loved playing with Uncle Brent.

Miles got grumpy and Max was able to eventually get him to nap.

The beach is this boys happy place. He is able to run and be free!

I love having moments when I can just play with Charlie. and we had some good times in the waves. He lasted a lot longer than me. That water is cold!

Miles got to feel the ocean too, even though it was really cold, he didn't seem to mind.

Charlie got so dirty and just in case he wasn't dirty enough, we has constantly dumping sand over his head.

Miles got buried by his cousins.

And he seemed to like it.

Digging holes and burying Brayden

I want to go back often just because of the joy this kid gets from it.
