Italian Dinner

I don't know how we lucked out with some friends agreeing to come over and make us a 5 course authentic Italian dinner. Apparently, a long time ago, our friend Nathan (from Questival) told us he would make us an Italian dinner. He served his mission in Italy and has since practiced and enhanced his gourmet chef skills. They will be moving this summer and Max wasn't going to let them forget this promise. Ha. So Nathan slaved all day preparing the meal, we merely contributed a couple store-bought baguettes and drinks. Anyway, I was at soccer with Charlie and Edwin when they came to our house and started cooking. When I got home, I got to sit with Kerri and their new baby Reagan while the men slaved away in the kitchen. Actually I think Max was just watching and Nathan was doing all the work, Shortly after, our first course was served...

Course 1-The Appetizer

I honestly don't remember what a lot of these courses were or what the ingredients were but I can tell you that everything tasted absolutely amazing. I can be a picky eater but I can say I loved everything the was served!

Course 2- Pasta, this was a huge hit with my boys as well!

I really wasn't that good at getting candid eating photos...sorry about that!

Course 3- The perfectly cooked pork and melting potatoes! Delicious and Gorgeous!

Course 4-The hazelnut Salad! We were getting quite full at this time, but the salad was the perfect refreshing course.

Course-5 The dessert. It was a light cheesy whipped thing with some other ingredients that made it amazing!
Anyway, it was a wonderful and delicious evening! Thank you Nathan and Kerri!
