November 2021 Photo Dump

November 2021

Some highlights from the month of November. They kind of uploaded all scrambled so we'll go with it.

Sleeping  babies are the best.

Library days...I sure don't miss those masks.

Their library rule is that they can only check out as many books as they can carry and they can't complain about how heavy it is. Sometimes a brother lends a helping hand.

We switched dentists awhile ago and all my kids can get their teeth cleaned at the same time and it's amazing.

A foggy night walk.

Love when I walk in on these scenes

Post-bath fluffy Maisy

I think this was pre-bath...she's a mess!

He is also a mess.

Another fun scene to happen upon

I thought it was cute when he ordered bows for his little girl .

A rainy nature school day

Planet project

Cute mischief maker

Found this in the basement. Miles- "That phone doesn't even have any screens on it"

He did homework when he felt like it.

He likes his baby

Walter likes his big brothers.

Another rainy nature school day.

With all the rain, Max had to dig some trenches to get the water away from the house. Those trenches have been the most played with toy in the months following. Affectionately named "The Slop Pit"

This is where the jumbled order of photos is not going to make sense.,,here you can see that the deck is already torn down.

School by the fire was wonderful.

We've sent so many trailer-loads of yard debris away (And still way more to go) and then my kids are here bringing more sticks home.

I'll take baby snuggles any day.

Setting up their library haul

Can you find 3 boys?

The deck partially removed. It was so rotten that the supporting beams were rotted out and it needed to be completely removed.

Walter likes watching daddy work on the deck.

He likes to make me nervous.

A strange sight...their room is clean. We had to take a picture.

We got to go on a spontaneous field trip to Grandma's work up in Longview to see all the fun office equipment. She works in the Longview School District Print Center so we got to do all sorts of fun projects with her. It was a blast.

Waiting for their papers to be shrink wrapped.

Collating

We then went to grandma's house for dinner and played with cousins some more.

Topsy Turvy

The fall leaves were so pretty in this old fountain.

Brothers

Spiderman telling you to READ

I've found him playing in the (cold) soot a time or two.

Stone soup preschool party.

November is the time when Edwin and Charlie get to pick out new glasses frames.
Can anyone else commiserate about picking out glasses frames blindly? Like, you have to take off your glasses to try on frames but then you are blind and can't see what they look like in the mirror. Mega struggle. Luckily we now have camera phones where I can take a picture of each one they try one, then the can put their actual glasses back on to scroll through the photos to pick the pair they like.

Edwin picked these ones.

Charlie picked some red ones, not pictured, They were both happy with their choice.

Max's nephew Tristen helped with a lot of the deck removal.

The deck is gone. Don't worry, that door has stayed double locked.

Pouring cement for the new footings.

Audiobooks make you sleepy.

The end of November was a good time to get out the Christmas lights.

November!
