Big boys/Little boys date

February 2021

 Last year our Charter school we were schooling with had a ski field trip. Miles and Charlie were excited to go and Max had gotten work off. The evening before the trip, large blizzards and poor visibility was expected so we decided to take the field trip a completely different direction. Max still wanted to do something special with his big boys so they found a cheap hotel at the beach and did a little overnighter. Edwin, Walter and I stayed home and had a lot of fun together. 

The big boys got to visit a favorite park. 

The sea was extra foamy so they had tons of fun with that. 

They also went to the dinosaur museum.

It makes me happy that Max remembered to take pictures.

While the big boys were away the little boys and mama had fun. First Edwin wanted to spend some birthday money at Target. He hunted for a long time and finally decided on this toy, 

We also went on a mall date because he needed new shoes really bad.

He picked some pretty blue ones (which wore out in less than a year)

We also made a library pickup and Edwin had a quiet afternoon "reading" while Walter napped. 

And he enjoyed putting his new toy together. 

When Walter was awake, we spent the afternoon at the park. Brothers came home in the late afternoon. It was a fun way to give all of our kids more attention than they're use to. haha!
