Tualatin river Wildlife Refuge

For one of our nature school days we went to Tualatin River Wildlife Refuge. This was the first time we had gone there. We were 40 minutes late because Edwin didn't want to wear pants, so we missed the group but we had fun on our self directed hike.

The photos uploaded all out of order again and I'm probably the only one bothered by this so I'm just going to leave it.

We had spurts of rain, my boys didn't mind, especially Miles who kept exclaiming his love for rain.

A favorite activity: throwing stuff into the water and watching the ripples get bigger and bigger. (It's a really slow river)

It was a grand time and we got to go back a couple months later for a preschool field trip...and we realized it is incredibly close to our house so we may keep going back!
