Walter's Baby Blessing and a Beach day

Some of our dearest friends came into town right after we closed on our house and the main purpose of their visit was to help us work on the house. Amazing Friends right? (Thank you Richard and Marissa!!) We also decided to have Walter's Priesthood baby blessing that weekend so our friends could join in. 

It was a lovely blessing and these are the photos that my dad took after church. 

Walter was the only one that didn't wear the same blessing outfit as my other boys and my younger brothers because he was too big for the outfit by the time we did the blessing (Thanks Covid) But its fun that he has his own thing. 

Richard and Marissa brought their littlest child. He and Walter are about 6 months apart. 

After church we made our way to Pacific City. To spend the evening with friends. We had planned to make a fire and roast hot dogs but after we hiked around a bit, it was pretty cold and windy. So we cut the trip a bit short but still had a wonderful time hiking around the dunes. 

Max and Richard, best friends since they were 14. Both holding their 4th child. 

He's a good sport.

The boys kept asking me to carry their shoes. I refused. Max was much nicer and carried their shoes...

Check out the sand. The wind was really picking up so we started to walk back. 

It's all fun and games until a gust of sand  hits your face. 

 We ended up having a mini picnic at our car where there was less wind, then we drove back home. I'm so glad we have these incredible places so close to us. It was a wonderful day!
